I have deliberately not included an exhaustive list of symptoms that Traditional Acupuncture may help as the variety of treatable symptoms is too extensive.
An Acupuncture diagnosis is based on different principles to the ones we are used to in western medicine and is unique to each individual.  The cause of one persons migraine, bad back, eczema or infertility is unique to them. Whilst some aspects of treatment may be common to all, other parts will be geared specifically to that individual and their particular ailment.
In short, most conditions are capable of being treated by Traditional Acupuncture and I am always happy to discuss potential treatments and outcomes on the basis of my clinical experience.
Mo (Age 50)

"I was in severe pain and muscle spasms following a road traffic accident involving an articulated lorry and 2 cars. After 3 years trying all sorts of treatment with little benefit, a friend recommended I see Zadi Hasan.

Zadi is highly qualified and experienced and the acupuncture and holistic approach he adopts allowed me back my life. It didn't happen overnight but working with him reduced the pain, the muscle spasms, and the unbearable headaches.

Chronic pain led to me being anxious and depressed at times. I was amazed at how effective acupuncture is in the treatment of these issues. I also gave up smoking a lot of cigarettes a day (9 months ago) and no longer need prescribed mood stabilising drugs!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Zadi and indeed have to friends. I wish I had known the benefits of acupuncture, when properly practised, much earlier. I was frightened about trying "needles". Thankfully I took a deep breath and did."

Jenny (Age 43)

"After two months of illness I was eventually diagnosed with vestibular neuritis which was caused by a viral infection. My Consultant and GP could not offer any relief from lingering and debilitating nausea, a side effect of this condition.

In desperation I turned to acupuncture, I had never tried it before and to be honest I approached it with some scepticism. However I was reassured by Zadi’s membership of the British Acupuncture Council.

Zadi’s consultations are unhurried and holistic and great importance is given to the discussion of your symptoms and general health before any acupuncture treatment begins in each session.

This discussion of symptoms particularly helped me to realise that the persistent nausea was not solely a symptom of my diagnosed illness but had also developed as I had lost confidence in my own body’s ability to react to everyday situations.

While rehabilitation exercises suggested by my ENT Consultant helped to restore my physical balance, the acupuncture sessions with Zadi, although centred on removing the nausea also considered previous medical issues (which unfortunately are numerous owing to being prematurely born).

When the acupuncture successfully removed the nausea I then began looking at my overall health. The sessions with Zadi finally allowed me to consider myself as a whole rather than tackle each medical problem individually. I have never been able to do this with Consultants or GP’s due to the usual constraints of time and specialisation. I believe that the acupuncture tradition of considering the whole rather than individual parts has enabled me to tackle my own physical problems with much more effectiveness and confidence than I would have been able to before I started the acupuncture treatments.

I feel very fortunate that I stumbled across acupuncture particularly with such a conscientious and skilled practitioner as Zadi. Everything is going from strength to strength with me and I am so grateful for the part you played. Thanks again!"
